Old Mill Pond is a screen print replica of a vintage photograph taken by Morris Bien in the 1880s, showing when Sligo Creek was flooded by a mill dam.
The resulting pond froze in the winter. The 6′ x 3’6″ panel was screenprinted and hand tinted, and hangs permanently on the first floor of the Takoma Park Community Center.
