Women in White is a site-specific installation for Historic Takoma’s Winter Windows exhibition. WHY WHITE? From the Suffragettes to Nancy Pelosi, baptism babies to first communion girls to blushing or badass brides, soccer stars to tennis players, dieticians to nurses, wearing the color white is a statement. Purity or purpose, white allows the wearer to shine through or show solidarity.
