On Thin Ice is an encaustic monotype triptych, specially made for the majestic windows in the stairwell at the Strathmore Mansion in Bethesda. The installation was part of the 2018 group show “Washington Wax Works at Strathmore”. The piece takes inspiration from frozen ice bubbles beneath the surface, and speaks to the warming of our planet.
